I’ve read a few of them, Dolf DeRoos, Kiyosaki, but the one I’m reading right now clearly seems to be the best of the bunch:
The Unofficial Guide to Real Estate Investing, 2nd Edition by Spencer Strauss and Martin Stone. Very informative and thorough.
One to avoid is How to Make BIG MONEY in Real Estate by Tyler Hicks. Maybe it’s just his writing style (italicizes almost every other word, especially the word “you” – meaning the reader. It reads as if he’s a used car salesman complete with the plaid suit. Plus, you spend $19.95 on his book only for him to refer you to his website, his telephone hotline, and other books and products in order to get “further details”.
Wish I still had the receipt for that one.
