What do you think about a property crowdfunding?

I’ve heard a lot of good things about it, but don’t really understand the model. Why is it better than a traditional real estate investment? Moreover, I’ve read a lot of RealtyShares collapse. Does that mean that all crowdfunding platforms are doomed?

not necessarily

Generally, I think it is a great opportunity for small investors with small funds. Also, you can choose several projects at once and that is a rare option.

About RealtyShares - I don’t think that all crowdfunding platforms are doomed :-). I like this opinion, where the main idea for me is “Diversification Is Still Key”: https://passiveincomemd.com/is-real-estate-crowdfunding-in-trouble/

Thank you for passiveincomemd article, now I understand more.

I have one more question. Is it a rare option to invest in different European countries at once, or every crowdfunding platform provides that.

Can’t tell you about all companies :shocked. I know that some of them indeed offer only local properties, but what the percentage - I don’t know.

Ok, can someone name some platforms that provide investing in properties in different countries through the crowdfunding model?

Smart Crowd, Dubai.

Thanks for these articles. I also found passiveincome article very useful. I was thinking of using some property crowdfunding, but I wasn’t sure if it’s a good choice, besides some of my friends were saying it’s a bad idea. But now I’ve changed my mind.
