Hello all,
I am a real estate investor in western Pennsylvania. I currently have two friends who are private lenders to my corporation, and I am considering greatly increasing this number. However, I have heard some “horror” stories about the SEC and people getting fined, particularly when they solicit the public at large. One genlteman in our area was recently fined $30K. I definitely don’t want this to happen…I have been to the Private Lending Made Easy site, and am considering using their program, but I am still concerned that it will not cover all of the twists and turns relative to my state.
Is there anyone out there who works with private lenders in PA? Does anyone have the courses from Private Lending Made Easy, or another similar company?
