Landlord Insurance in NY

Hi Y'all!!
I am looking for a GOOD affordable insurance for my home.  The prices I've gotten are over $1k (1,336, 1220) a yr. With a $1k deductible.  :banghead

The house is located In Suffolk Cty NY

Any insurance companies that cover your area should all be listed in the phone book.  Start calling around.  Make sure you're comparing apples to apples by asking for quotes of equal coverage limits.  FYI, it's usually not that much more for an annual premium if you bump up your liability limit from $300K or $500K all the way up to $1 Million.

On one of the quotes she mentioned something about '3' or something like that... Do you know what that is?
