I see a lot of posts from Texas, etc.; but none from Long Island, NY. I am curious if there is anyone on this board that does rehabs on Long Island. I’m a newbie and curious about the dollars. It’s really just a numbers thing… example: there is no way I can buy any home (excluding moble) for under $100K. Sure, I suppose there’s exceptions to every rule, but I’ve looked at a ton of vacant- completely destroyed- fire damaged- homes that are selling for $150K. I assume then that repair costs are ramped up as well. Are the deals available up here, too? ???
