Short Sale Assignment ??

Ok I have been looking around the forums for information on this topic. So fare I have gotten some good information. My question is this if one has a SS for 100k and has a buyer for 130k can I assign my contract and have it on the HUD-1 as Real estate service rendered? Now I know I could do a double closing or buy the property out right my self, but I just want to know if there is another way to close the deal. I have also read on another forum that had this to say: SS homes can’t be assigned, unless if you make the offer on the home with a corporation (LLC) or a land trust. Otherwise, you can double close on the property. Let me know what you think.
