Does anyone know of a good place to find free MLS . I have a few properties im looking at and i want to find out what the market value is of these properties. I dont want to involve a real estate agent.

try you county public tax page, many will allow you to search streets for sales, or you can try www.Zillow.com

No offense, Eric, but my recommendation is to delete zillow.com from your favorites.  It is horribly wrong (at least in my experience).  In TX sales data is private, so Zillow can't give accurate comps.  I suggest you find you a good realtor and he/she will have no problems running comps for you.  If you network with her correctly, she will see the value because you will refer all the people who respond to your marketing but won't work for you to her.  For me personally, I just walk across the hallway and have the prettiest realtor in Ft Worth run comps for me--my wife.  :biggrin
