I live in Texas and I'm trying to figure out redemption periods. I know in the foreclosures far as the mortgages and all their is not redemption period in Texas, but in the tax sales or sherif sales their is a 6 month to a year redemption period.
first question is if you buy a property at auction and the owner of the property redeems their property with in that six months can you get money back if you increased the value of the property( like new windows fixed bathrooms, new roof)
second question is can you resell the property with in that the redemption period, or is their some type of hold preventing you from reselling the property
