bathtubs

I need to replace a bathtub and surround for a quick fix & flip and I have a question regarding choice of material. Cheap bathtubs made from steel and porcelain sell for $79 at HD, cast iron and enamel cost about $325, and acrylic $325 and up. Everyone I talk to says go with the acrylic because the others scratch and dent easily. Are enamel & porcelain tubs that bad?

I’m not big on what kind of materials tubs are made of, but I never pay more than $150 for a tub and it always looks good and feels sturdy. If it was a rental, I might be more wary, but for a fix & flip, you won’t get those extra dollars back.
