Wholesale newbie...any help is really appreciated
« on: March 31, 2007, 09:58:50 pm »
Hey there everyone, I am located in Ga and completely new to wholesaling.  I had a few questions.

When I'm ready to assign my contract, would the investor just pay me my fee with a check, or an online money transfer or what?  Once I assign the contract, I am legally not involved in the transaction right?

Any help or advice at all will be greatly appreciated.

With the proper paper work, you are off the hook when you assign the contract.  By assigning the contract the assignee, has been assigned all aspects of the contract.  You can collect your fee anytime that the assignee is willing to pay.  Many people wont have the money to pay you your fee upfront and instead will elect to have it paid at closing
