Time For Consolidation

Greeting All.

I would like to give kudos to anyone looking to enter into this crazy world of real estate investing. This industry requires intelligence, cunning, wits, problem solving skills, the right marketing campaign, and networking skills, to name a few, to compete effectively. Real estate investing has indeed become an industry and in my opinion it is time for some consolidation. In order for this industry to continue to grow, we need to build a nationwide database of properties, leads, lenders, investors, and discussion forums for each investor to education themselves and also sell or rent property. I am a firm believer that real estate investing is not relegated to the local real estate investment club in your area. Real estate investing has morphed into a global enterprise and as such we need to communicate and facilitate property sales, exchanges, solicitations and marketing on a global level.

If you have property to sell and you are only marketing locally, the DOM is likely to be excessive because everyone is selling the same type property in the same manner in the same local. We have to market on a larger scale, not much unlike the Real Estate Agents web-based marketing tool Realtor.com. Real Estate investors need 13 or fewer web-based marketing tools enabling the local newbie or the seasoned veteran to opportunity to advertise nationally.

Currently, there are numerous billboards or forums for investors to generate interest or receive mentoring on deals in the works, but forums that are utilized everyday by investors around the country exchanging purposeful information are few. I have visited discussion boards around the country marketing my products and services, and only a handful are used daily to discuss and teach. If we are going to expand this industry we really need to band together and create a marketplace to open the door to the limitless possibilities in real estate investing.

I welcome you comments.

To Your Success,

John Hinton III
