I think most of the people here are working in larger cities or larger areas. I am wholesale flipping in a small town and I know a couple people who are rehabbing in my town and making a nice living.

I guess that would depend on what you consider small & the direction the area is taking

Our town is about 35K people & the neighboring small towns are the same or smaller
all are growing
how far out are you willing to go?
have you considered manufactured homes - bareland you can split - property 100 miles away in a bigger city?

just ideas
