I have heard many times that road signs are an excellent way to do marketing fot the business. If so how do we get around the federal laws? The laws state that signs cannot be posted something like 250 feet from any federally funded indersection or on any federally funded roads. Can someone please explain this for me.

Use cheap signs. I would not put them in the middle Interstate Highways. Put them in the neighborhoods where you want to buy houses.

Ted offers good advice above. Use cheap corplast bandit signs that cost around $2 each or so. That way, when they get torn down (they will - it’s a cost of doing business) it won’t be particularly painful.
